Eldfall Chronicles Has Arrived at OzWargaming
We're excited to announce that OzWargaming is now stocking the incredible Eldfall Chronicles range!
Set in the fantasy world of Calad, Eldfall Chronicles is a unique tabletop experience that combines two fully compatible game systems into a single miniature range. Whether you're looking for intense tactical battles, narrative-driven adventures, cooperative campaigns, or solo play, Eldfall Chronicles offers a flexible and rewarding experience that can be enjoyed however you like.
What makes Eldfall Chronicles stand out is that every miniature, hero, monster, and profile can be used across multiple game modes. Build a collection once and enjoy it in competitive skirmishes, cooperative adventures, solo campaigns, and narrative dungeon-crawling experiences.
With beautifully detailed 32mm miniatures, free core rules, and a growing range of factions and expansions, Eldfall Chronicles has quickly become one of the most exciting fantasy tabletop systems available today.
Skirmish Wargame
The Skirmish Wargame is the competitive heart of Eldfall Chronicles.
Players command small elite warbands, typically consisting of just three to six miniatures, in fast-paced tactical battles where every activation matters. Games are fought across open battlefields using terrain and measurement tools, creating dynamic engagements where positioning, timing, and resource management are critical.
A typical game lasts between 30 and 60 minutes, making it easy to fit multiple games into an evening while still providing deep tactical decision-making. The game's signature action-and-reaction system keeps both players constantly engaged, ensuring there is very little downtime between turns.
While designed for competitive play and tournament environments, the Skirmish Wargame also supports cooperative and solo scenarios using automated enemy behaviour systems.
Key Features
• Competitive PvP battles
• Cooperative and solo scenarios
• Small warbands of 3–6 miniatures
• Fast 30–60 minute games
• Dynamic action-reaction gameplay
• Uses standard terrain and battlefield layouts
Dungeon Crawl
Dungeon Crawl transforms the same miniatures and core mechanics into a narrative-driven cooperative adventure game.
Players control a party of heroes as they explore dangerous locations, battle monsters, uncover secrets, and make choices that shape the unfolding story. Designed for one to four players, Dungeon Crawl requires no Game Master thanks to automated enemy behaviour systems that drive encounters and challenges throughout the campaign.
Unlike the Skirmish Wargame, Dungeon Crawl uses thematic tiles with marked movement areas rather than open battlefield measurement. The result is a more accessible adventure experience that still retains the tactical depth Eldfall Chronicles is known for.
Campaigns feature branching paths, hidden storylines, Fate-based decision systems, and an impressive 33 possible endings determined by the choices players make throughout the adventure. A typical campaign unfolds across roughly twelve sessions, with individual quests taking between 60 and 120 minutes to complete.
Key Features
• Solo and cooperative play
• 1–4 players
• No Game Master required
• Branching narrative campaigns
• Fate-based decision system
• 33 possible endings
• Fully compatible with Skirmish miniatures and profiles
Competitive Play
For players who enjoy testing their skills against others, Eldfall Chronicles offers a balanced competitive environment built around small elite warbands.
Games emphasize tactical positioning, resource management, and clever use of each character's unique abilities. With low model counts and highly distinctive heroes, every activation can change the outcome of the battle.
Competitive play is primarily centered around the Skirmish Wargame system and serves as the foundation for tournaments and organized events.
Cooperative Play
Both Skirmish Wargame and Dungeon Crawl support cooperative gameplay.
Players can team up against automated enemies, tackle special scenarios, or experience full narrative campaigns together. This flexibility makes Eldfall Chronicles an excellent choice for groups looking for a fantasy tabletop game that doesn't always require direct player-versus-player competition.
Solo Play
Eldfall Chronicles has been designed from the ground up to support solo gamers.
Automated enemy behaviour systems allow a single player to enjoy both Skirmish and Dungeon Crawl content without needing an opponent. Whether you're exploring a branching campaign or testing your tactical skills against AI-controlled enemies, the game offers a complete solo experience right out of the box.
